Manasprings welcomed thirty Manawomen to Siaya, Nyanza Region for the residential Grassroots Women’s Leadership Event held over two nights, three days in November 2019. Women who serve the poor and marginalised in their communities travelled in from Migori, Kisumu, Eldoret, Bungoma, Busia, Kitale, Kakamega, and Homa Bay to be with Manawomen from Siaya for a time of connection, inspiration and learning.

Manasprings is known for providing a safe space for women to share concerns and issues, a place for women to connect around a shared service to the economically poor, and a time for being refreshed body, mind and spirit for a lifetime journey of caring for others.

Thanks so much to Australian friend and guest facilitator Cheryl Blackwell, Hope Bathurst, and Manasprings partners and donors who support us in so many ways. Appreciation is also given to Christabel Fuchs for organising the Event. Your generosity enabled Manawomen to gather for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
