Friends and partners throughout Australia and New Zealand supported the Manasprings promotional tour ‘down-under’, highlighting Manasprings’ work in Kenya. Special thanks to all who fundraised and brought awareness of the incredible women in Kenya who directly help people in need.
Getting together in homes, community halls, offices and hotel venues to share about the invaluable work of empowering women at the grassroots of Kenyan society was indeed an honour for Manasprings’ Founders, Carey Westwood and Wanjiru Waithaka. The program included African Market get-togethers for women to learn about the organisation’s work in Kenya, and also purchase handmade homewares and jewellery, as well as speaking engagements at every opportunity given.We look forward to being back in 2018.
