Now In Australia – Far From Life In Kenya

With the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the world, impacting upon people and their livelihoods with varying degrees of fear, insecurity, sustainability, and sorrow, it is the economically poor and marginalised who suffer most. It is women and girls living in impoverished communities who really need our help: grassroots women leaders (Manawomen) caring for the others living in poverty, mothers relying on daily labour to feed their children, and girls hoping to continue their education to break the cycle of poverty within their families.

Manasprings Co-Founders, Wanjiru and Carey are now in Australia, having cut short the New Zealand Fundraising Trip, and now living far from life in Kenya. Grateful for all that was accomplished with the help of many friends of Manasprings in New Zealand, the 2020 Fundraising Program ‘Down-Under’ has had to take on a whole new look. With the goal of raising $50,000 to help strengthen and support women in Kenya who care for the poor and vulnerable, there has never been a better time than now to do so.

Please take action today, and donate to Manasprings, so that together we can help women in Kenya to not only transform their own lives, but also the lives of others. You can donate by becoming a ManaRafiki – a Manasprings Friend, purchasing a Manasprings Bracelet, or making a one-off donation.
